Assad tells Lebanese politicians he will be victorious

A Lebanese newspaper reported that Syrian President Bashar Assad told Lebanese politicians he is convinced he will be the victor in his country's civil war and will defeat the rebels.
"The future is ours. The absolute majority in Syria is loyal to the regime and I am convinced we will defeat the extreme terrorists," Assad said. (AFP)
