PM thanks pope for promoting Christians-Jews ties
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a letter to Pope Benedict XVI in light of the latter's retirement: "I wish to thank you for everything you did for the ties between Christians and Jews, the PM wrote.
"I thank you for your leadership in these tempestuous days and wish you longevity, health and happiness," Netanyahu wished for the pope. (Attila Somfalvi)
