Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch referred to the "Prisoner X" affair before the Knesset plenum and said: "Prisoners don't disappear in Israel. The State has proper supervision and care; rules and procedures are strictly followed, with concern for the State's security."
He also noted that alongside these considerations some cases warrant great secrecy. (Moran Azulay)
