Suspect in Muslim cleric's murder remanded
The Ramla Magistrate's Court remanded Mohammed Derwish for an additional three days Monday. Derwish is the prime suspect in the murder of Muhammad Taji Abu Jamil, a Muslim cleric who ran the city's Waqf.
Derwish was arrested on Sunday following a month-long undercover police investigation. The suspect's attorney Shukri Abu Tabikh denied the allegations. (Eli Senyor)
