Beitar Illit man suspected of sexually assaulting kids remanded

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court has extended by seven says the remand of a Beitar Illit teacher suspected of performing sexual offences and acts on children. The judge also ordered that the suspect undergo a psychiatric evaluation.


The police said that according to suspicions, at least 10 children fell victim to the teacher, who performed the offences in his home and in his vehicle. The police also pointed out that in some of the cases thousands of shekels were paid for the family's silence. (Noam Dvir)
