Deadly blast hits regime-held part of Syria's Homs

A car bomb exploded on Thursday in a regime-held suburb of Homs city, in the center of war-torn Syria, killing a number of people and wounding others, state news agency SANA said.

"Terrorists detonated a car bomb... in the Akrama Jadideh neighborhood... and preliminary information indicates that there are dead and wounded," the agency reported. (AFP)
