Gantz hints Israeli role in Syria attack
For the first time IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz has commented on reports of Israel's alleged attack in Syria, hinting that "when we see things that risk changing the balance of security, we try to act as is required."
Regarding the issue of equal share of the burden, Gantz said: "Plain and simple- haredim must serve. In Israel, if you don’t give (time to the army) you are not a partner, and if you are not a partner you do not care about the country." (Yoav Zitun)
