Palestinian PM evacuated as tear gas fired in Bilin protest
Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad was removed by his bodyguards from a procession in the West Bank village of Bilin due to teargas fired several meters away, as Palestinian protestors clashed with Israeli security forces.
Senior Palestinian officials participated in the march marking eight years of struggle against the separation fence passing through the village and in solidarity with four Palestinian prisoners who have gone on a hunger strike in Israeli prisons. (Elior Levy)
