FIFA anti-racism chief says victims not supported

FIFA's new anti-racism chief says football has failed to support players facing abuse and needs tougher sanctions as he plans talks with the perpetrators.

 

CONCACAF President Jeffrey Webb has been appointed by FIFA President Sepp Blatter to head a task force and figure out how to eradicate racism from the game. European football in particular has witnessed a spate of abuse among players and fans in recent years. (Reuters)
