Ahmadinejad supports Assad in meeting with Syrian FM
The Syrian news agency Sana reported that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met in Tehran with Syria's Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem and said that his country stands by Syria and that a solution to the civil war lies in dialogue along the outline set by President Bashar Assad.
Al Mualllem met Saturday with his Iranian opposite Ali Akbar Salehi and accused the United States of supporting the rebels. (Roi Kais)
