Bulgarians protest against poverty, corruption
Tens of thousands of people are protesting across Bulgaria against poverty and corruption, and are demanding legislative amendments that will allow the participation of common citizens in politics.
Protests in the capital, Sofia, and other major cities continued Sunday, as Bulgaria celebrates its national holiday. Organized through social media, the protesters waved Bulgarian flags and chanted slogans against the political elite. There were no reports of violence. (AP)
