Rahat: Suspected hit-and-run leaves 4-year-old dead
A four-year-old was killed when crossing the street in the Bedouin city of Rahat, near Beersheba. The child was taken to the Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheba where he died of his wounds.
After hitting the child, the driver allegedly fled the scene, prompting police to begin scouring the area in his pursuit. A few hours later, however, a man turned himself in to the police, saying he was involved in a fatal car accident. Police are currently investigating the suspect's connection to the incident.
