Putin extends condolences on Chavez death

Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his condolences on the death of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and said that he was a unique and strong man who looked towards the future.
Putin added that Chavez was a close friend to Russia who paved the way to deep commitment between the two countries; leading to the creation of joint economic and humanitarian projects. (AFP)
