AG: Netanyahu may hold FM portfolio for Lieberman

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein said in response to several petitions that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may hold the Foreign Ministry portfolio pending the conclusion of legal proceedings against Avigdor Lieberman.

Weinstein said that the question of Lieberman's appointment can be answered only following the trial, and that the law allows a minister to be appointed after a government is formed. (Aviel Magnezi)
