Peres to NATO secretary: Iran sanctions not yet achieved goal

President Shimon Peres met with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and commented on Iran's nuclear program, saying that sanctions on the Islamic state have made some achievements, but the goal of preventing Iran from going nuclear must still be pursued.

Rasmussen reiterated NATO's commitment to Middle East security, and emphasized the Treaty's determination to fight terror and attempt peace. (Noam Dvir)
