Labor Party Chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich said Thursday that "I promised the prime minister that he has 15 votes in the opposition that would support any move towards (an agreement with the Palestinians). I do not believe that will happen, but if on the eve of an agreement we find ourselves with Bennett quitting the government – we'll join."
Yachimovich made it clear: "We will not be responsible for delaying historic developments that bring us closer to peace with our neighbors; we will not be the ones that prevent an agreement. Until then we will continue to be a fighting opposition." (Maor Buchnik)
