Cairo: Protestor killed during clashes with police
A protester died in Cairo on Saturday during clashes with police near Tahrir Square, the Egyptian chief of emergency services Mohammad Sultan told AFP.
He said the victim "suffocated" in the ambulance where he was taken after inhaling tear gas fired by the police, who were facing hundreds of protesters throwing stones. (AFP)
