Lieberman: Nothing new about PM holding FM portfolio
MK Avigdor Lieberman commented on "reserving" the Foreign Ministry portfolio for him: "It was clear to everyone that this is an Yisrael Beiteinu portfolio. There have been prior instances when a prime minister held seven-eight portfolios. I don't think there's anything new about a PM holding the Foreign Ministry portfolio for a few months."
Lieberman added: "Forming a government with (Yair) Lapid and (Naftali) Bennett is a natural step. The aim was to build a broad government, but it wasn't possible, not at this stage." (Ilana Curiel)
