Haifa man requests PA asylum due to ‘financial difficulties’

An Israeli national, 23, crossed into Tulkarem and asked for political asylum in the Palestinian Authority due to “financial difficulties” he was experiencing in Israel. The young man was taken to the Palestinian Liaison Office, which returned him to the Civil Administration. The man was then handed over to Israeli police. (Elior Levy)
