Crashed helicopter's pilots didn't report problem
None
The pilots on board the helicopter which crashed Monday night in the Shfela region were en route from central Israel to a routine exercise. They continued to another exercise when communications were lost. They did not report any problem.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit stated that since the helicopter was on its way back from an exercise, it did not carry a large amount of fuel and therefore did not explode in the air, but crashed and broke apart after the fall. (Neri Brenner)
