Knesset Members Tamar Zandberg (Meretz), Stav Safir (Labor) and Michal Rosin (Meretz) claim they were delayed at the entrance to the Western Wall after they attempted to pray wearing a prayer shawl. According to them, police officers asked them to leave the shawls at the entrance to prevent disruptions.
The police stated that the policemen did not recognize the three were MKs, and have therefore asked them to remove the shawls. After they identified themselves, they were allowed in with the shawls without further delay. (Noam Dvir, Moran Azulay)
