Syrian opposition leader may quit over differences of opinion

Sources in the Syrian opposition told the Al Hayyat newspaper that opposition leader Moaz al-Khatib was considering resigning his post due to differences of opinion with opposition members.
According to the report, Syrian National Council Secretary General Mustafa Sabbagh sent a message to al-Khatib stressing that they must establish a temporary government, an issue upon which they disagree. Al-Khatib is expected to submit his resignation at the opposition conference in Istanbul on March 18. (Roi Kais)
