J'lem: Palestinian accused of attempted terror attack

A 23-year-old Palestinian from Jabel Mukaber in Jerusalem has been accused of planning to carry out a terror attack with his friends against Jews living in the city's Abu Tor neighborhood.
According to the indictment filed at the Jerusalem District Court, the accused scouted the area while his friend operated the explosive placed adjacent to a home in the neighborhood. Damage was caused to the building as a result of the blast. The accused is being charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, sabotage and arson. (Aviel Magnezi)
