It has been decided that Yuval Steinitz will serve as the minister for international affairs - a role that marries the intelligence and strategic affairs ministries.
Minister for Regional Development Silvan Shalom will also take on the energy and water portfolio as well as the Negev and Galilee development portfolio. He will also be a member of the kitchen cabinet and the team running negotiations with the Palestinians. (Attila Somfalvi)
