Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in his speech at the Knesset following the appointment of MK Yuli Edelstein as Knesset Speaker that "the new government's first priority will be to protect the security of the country and its citizens. I am not exaggerating when I say that the threats are greater than ever."
Netanyahu added "there is an experienced team alongside a fresh one, and this combination can generate the great changes that the nation is awaiting, firstly of course, to dramatically increase the equal share of the national burden and dramatically decrease the cost of living." (Moran Azulay)
