Man arrested for allegedly raping ex-girlfriend

Police arrested a man suspected of raping his former girlfriend. The suspect was previously convicted of assaulting her, and was placed in a psychiatric ward instead of being jailed. Two weeks after his release, he began to harass the woman, finally arriving at her home on Monday and allegedly raping her.

The suspect will be brought to a remand hearing on Tuesday in the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court. (Eli Senyor)
