2013 budget extension bill passes first reading

The Knesset plenum approved on its first reading a bill to extend the dates for the 2013 budget. It passed with a vote of 64: 7.
According to the proposal, the government will be granted an extension of 85 days to prepare the 2013 budget, after which the Knesset will have 50 days to give its final approval. (Zvi Lavi)
