US poll: 66% think Israel and Arabs cannot live in peace
According to a CNN poll, 66% of Americans answered negatively when asked whether "there will come a time when Israel and the Arab nations will be able to settle their differences and live in peace." Conversely, only 32% responded positively.
In addition, 46% of those polled defined Israel as an ally of the US, 8% said the Jewish state was "unfriendly to the US" and 6% said Israel was an enemy. (Ynet)
