Hagel tells Ya'alon he expects further security colaboration

The new Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon and United States Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel talked for the first time on the phone, and congratulated each other on taking office. Hagel is expected to visit Israel in April.

Hagel told Ya'alon that he has great appreciation of the strategic and security relations between the two countries and expects a strengthening of colaboration between them. Ya'alon remarked on the common challenges facing the two countries vis-à-vis the Middle East's unstable situation. (Yoav Zitun)
