Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett said at the end of United States President Barack Obama speech: "It's an important speech which recognizes the deep historical connection between the people of Israel and the land of Israel."
Regarding the omission of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from the president's speech, he said: "People miss that the connection between Israel and the US isn't about the conflict, but that there are security, economic and historical collaborations." (Roi Anteby)
