Obama, Peres spoke about Syria, Pollard; moved by choir

Efrat Duvdevani, the director general for the President's Residence, said that US President Barack Obama and Peres held a small diplomatic meeting "which lasted 50 minutes." According to her, the two discussed "important national and diplomatic issues like the Syrian threat and Jonathan Pollard."
Upon his arrival Obama was welcomed by a children's choir, waving US and Israeli flags. "We know from his speech, as well as through his conversation with Peres, that Obama was moved by the children." (Ilana Curiel)
