Syrian President Bashar Assad has called the bloody conflict that has ravaged Syria for two years a "battle of will and strength," during a visit to a Damascus school Wednesday.
"If we are strong, we can protect Syria," Assad was quoted by a Syrian state newspaper. (AFP)
