Obama's tree will not be uprooted

None

The President's Residence and the Agriculture Ministry stated that the Magnolia tree, which was planted by United States President Barack Obama in the President's Residence's garden, will not be uprooted.

It was decided on Wednesday that the tree be uprooted since it was not properly examined when it entered Israel with the American president. The Agriculture Ministry said that the examinations will be made without uprooting the tree. (Noam Dvir)
