Turkish interior minister welcomes Kurd ceasefire decision

Turkish Interior Minister Muammer Guler welcomed the decision of the rebel Kurd leader Abdullah Ocalan to declare a ceasefire with the Turkish and withdraw his forces after 30 years of fighting.
“The language he used is one of peace, but I still expect results on the ground,” Guler said. (AFP)
