Investigation says Cobra crashed due to technical malfunction

The preliminary investigation into the fatal Cobra helicopter crash which killed Lt.-Col. Noam Ron, 49, and Maj. Erez Flekser, 31, earlier this month, has shown that the crash was caused by technical failure. These findings were presented to Air Force Commander Major-General Amir Eshel.
The Air Force’s Cobra fleet has been grounded pending completion of the investigation. (Yoav Zitun)
