Thousands of opponents and supporters of Egypt's powerful Muslim Brotherhood clashed Friday near the Islamist group's Cairo headquarters, where riot police guarded the building.
Young men threw stones and chanted against Islamist President Mohammed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood supporters near the office. Some wielded tree branches and broken bottles. Police did not interfere to break up the two sides fighting a few blocks away from the building. Both sides sustained injuries. (AP)
