Gantz supports apology to Turkey

“It was good that the prime minister took action to further relations with Turkey, it will have a positive effect on our security and strategic interests,” IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Benny Gantz said on Sunday. “The actions of the flotilla in regards to the Marmara was professional and ethical. I have complete faith in the commanders. They also take into proportion the difference between talk and between the need to be strategic.”
The chief-of-staff and President Shimon Peres visited Central Brigade Benjamin and met with the soldiers from the Kfir brigade before the Passover holiday. (Yoav Zitun)
