Peres to Turkish press: No reason for us to be enemies

President Shimon Peres said in an interview to Turkish television station CNN Turk that there are a thousand reasons why Israel and Turkey should be friends and not even one why they should be enemies.
According to Peres, the two nations decided to put an end to the misunderstanding that marred their previously good and long term relations. (Noam Dvir)
