Egypt: No progress in negotiations for release of Israeli in Sinai
No progress was made in the negotiations for the release of Israeli national and Norwegian citizen who were abducted last week in the Sinai Peninsula, Egyptian ONA agency reported.
Top officials with the Norwegian embassy have reportedly offered great sums of money to the captors in exchange for the release of the Norwegian woman, but the kidnappers stressed they were not interested in monetary ransom but rather in the release of their relatives imprisoned in Cairo.
