70 hikers rescued from Sion stream
The rescue of 70 hikers who lost their way during a hike along the Sion stream has been completed. Three of the hikers were evacuated by helicopter to the Ziv hospital in Safed due to severe exhaustion and hyperthermia.
The recue took 10 hours with 30 members of the police search and rescue unit taking part in cooperation with IDF forces. (Maor Buchnik)
