Turkey confirms Israelis to visit Ankara to work our compensation
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç has confirmed the report that an Israeli delegation would arrive in Turkey next week to work out the amount of compensation to be paid to the families of the eight Turks and Turkish-American killed in the IDF raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla in 2010.
Commenting on contradictory media reports on the amount to be paid by Israel, Arınç said: "Everyone is talking about a different amount. They are not accurate. I request that everyone not utter a word concerning the amount of the compensation to avoid disappointment in the future." According to the Today's Zaman newspaper, he added that it was a matter of law that should be discussed by jurists. (Ynet)
