Sakhnin: Protesters clash, Israeli journalist lightly injured
A scuffle that erupted during a Land Day procession has spread and now involves protsters who assaulted an Al-Jazeera reporter and those trying to protect him. Police forces are on their way to the scene.
An Israeli journalist sustained a light injury to his head and is being treated at a local clinic. The scuffle began when Assad loyalists assaulted an Al-Jazeera reporter in protest of his reports about the situation in Syria. (Hassan Shaalan)
