Palestinian PM: Open Israeli prisons to international scrutiny
Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad slammed the conduct of the Israeli Prison Service in wake of the death of security prisoner Maisara Abu Hamdiyeh.
Fayyad said that the "policy of medical negligence" was the central reason for Abu Hamdiyeh's death and demanded Israeli prisons be open to international regulation, monitoring and scrutiny. (Elior Levy)
