Footballer's friend confesses to Netanya murder
Aritzia Akalsongo, a Congo national, has confessed to the murder of Zehava Chakol in a Netanya hotel on Wednesday and reenacted the incident.
The investigation revealed the murder was related to a dispute over money. The involvement of Akalsongo's friend, a foreign footballer playing in an Israeli team, is still under investigation. The two suspects will be brought before the Kfar Saba Magistrate's Court on Wednesday for a remand hearing. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
