Palestinians throw rocks in West Bank, officer lightly injured
Dozens of Palestinians are hurling rocks and Molotov cocktails, as well as setting tires ablaze, in one of Hebron's central squares in protest of the death of Palestinian security prisoner Maisara Abu Hamdiyeh. An IDF officer has been lightly wounded after being hit by a stone, he received treatment at the scene.
Similar riots were reported in Beit Omar, Nablus, Halhul, Ofra and Ariel with Palestinian targeting either IDF forces or Israeli vehicles and roads. IDF forces are attempting to disperse the riots at each location. (Itamar Fleishman)
