Body of security prisoner transferred to PA for autopsy
Israel has handed over the body of Maisara Abu Hamdiyeh, the Palestinian security prisoner who died Tuesday from cancer, to the Palestinian Authority so as to allow Palestinian and international pathologists to conduct additional autopsies and dispel doubts about the circumstances of his death.
His body will first be moved to the official government hospital in Hebron in preparation for his funeral procession, scheduled to take place in the city on Thursday. (Elior Levy)
