Labor MK: Chairwoman making Labor party into 'Yachimovich party'
Knesset Member Eitan Cabel (Labor) sent a letter to his party's chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich ahead of the Labor conference, warning her that the amendments to the party code she is promoting are "a closing of the curtains on the Labor party and turning it into Yachimovich's party."
"The amendments are the same amendments she opposed during Ehud Barak's chairmanship. The conference must discuss the party's failure in the elections and the creation of an alternative to the regime, not party procedures," Cabel wrote. (Attila Somfalvi)
