Syria criticizes Hamas chief after his reelection

A Syrian pro-Assad newspaper accused Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal of neglecting to resist Israel.
"Today, as Mashaal is Hamas leader for the fifth time (...), the West Bank, Gaza and all of occupied Palestine have no cause for celebration," the Al-Thawra newspaper stated. (AFP)
