Palestinian prisoners return meals in protest of inmate's death
Most of the administrative detainees in prisons around Israel returned their three meals untouched on Wednesday in protest of the death of fellow prisoner Maysarah Abu Hamdia of cancer on Tuesday.
Currently, prisoners have not announced whether they intend to refrain from eating tomorrow, as well. Returning the meals will only be considered a hunger strike after 48 hours. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
