Abbas condemns Israel for West Bank escalation
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned Israel for causing escalation in the West Bank over the past two days. In an announcement released from his office, Abbas mentioned the death of the security prisoner and the deaths of two Palestinians near the Einav settlement in the West Bank.
He also noted that "the Israeli government is liable for the repercussions of these incidents which will harm American efforts to renew negotiations." (Roi Kais)
